Carolina looks impressive but they have been scoring a lot of points off turnovers the past few games...If Manning protects the ball I think it will be a pretty close low scoring game.

I'm trying to envision Peyton holding the trophy to take the shine off of Brady, even just a little. And to see a great win for the old guy against the odds. It would be a great win. When we're out I root for Rodgers for the same reasons

Somehow the Denver D has to win the game. Hopefully rattling Newton into a bad game. And winning the turnover battle. And maybe Peyton managing the game with his savvy

Josh Norman doing a bad Richard Sherman impersonation after the game...he's trying way too hard.

Maybe, but it's also true. The Pats were illegally taping opponents throughout the early Brady/Belichick success.

Hard to consider those legitimate championships.

Brady and Manning both have choked in the playoffs many times with games that they should've won (they were clear favorites going in).

They have a lot in common. Great regular season QBs, not so much in the playoffs.

Pats homers would respond with "but he won those Super Bowls at the beginning of his career!" Yeah, but as established, that was aided by rampant cheating.

So the difference between Manning and Brady is a cheating coaching staff.

Think what you'd like, they'll never be tainted to me. Recording the sidelines during a televised game isn't something I could even force myself to believe is a big deal.

You know what Bellichick was thinking--"hey, I invented that".

The NFL disagrees with you, and so does Belichick.

Keep in mind the NFL sent out a memo specifically reminding teams not to do it and Belichick continued to do it anyway. You think he would've broken league rules if he didn't think it provided him with an advantage?

Obviously a Patriots fan wouldn't admit to titles being tainted.

The Panthers D is going to completely smother Manning and the Broncos sorry offense. This is going to be a really shitty superbowl.

This question highlights the intellectual dishonesty of most Patriots fans. Instead of acknowledging that Belichick is a cheating scumbag and the championships are tainted, they rationalize the cheating by claiming that it didn't give them a competitive advantage.

Sometimes fantasy is more comfortable than reality. Most NFL fans prefer reality.
