Check the film. Stats mean nothing. Murray can't make NFL throws, has all day to throw, throws to wide open receivers, overthrows or underthrows most of his completions. Anyone who thinks he can be a good NFL QB is Kyler fanboy.
I admittedly haven't paid as much attention, but I don't think any of the QBs in this class will end up being franchise guys.
At the combine, Haskins looked like he was running with cinder blocks on his legs. His drop steps seemed sluggish too but he made nice throws. I have no idea how this kid will pan out. I was impressed with Jackson from Buffalo. Kid had a nice showing at the combine and probably made a good case to be on an NFL roster next season.
1. Bosa: I feel like they are the Kardashian's of the NFL. Out to make a name for themselves and brand themselves to be better marketed off the field. I think he'll be good but not live up to the number 1 overall pick. 2. Metcalf: I've seen too many players like him. Do amazing at the combine. Great body etc but doesn't translate on the field. Injuries a concern too. Look at Mamula, Stephen Hill, Vernon Ghoston to name a few. 3. QBs: I think Murray and Haskins will be good starters in the NFL. I think Locke, Jones etc will be overdrafted have a cup of tea but never live up to their draft position. Look at Ponder, Gabbert (spelling) Sanchez, and any other qb overdrafted that didn't pan out.
Average footwork and questionable at reading progression at an nfl speed. He reminds me of Zach Mettenberger
He is very good at reading progressions, he was probably the best at doing it in college football. His footwork in the pocket is sound too. Really not sure what games you watched to draw these conclusions?
