Jeez. Season over, yes? Giants might finish 2-14 just from lack of healthy talent and back into Eli's replacement. Just great.
Yeah, I was watching. Sad to see. Hope he recovers and returns to 100% next year. Even sadder: I am sure some Jets fans are thinking "I wish I was the Giants! They are 0-5. They are so lucky!" Cause we apparently have a lot of loser fans.
is it too late to flex out their game next week? who wants to watch them get destroyed at Denver on sunday night football?
Actually, now that their season is over I want to see them start winning meaningless games to hurt their draft position. And hey, right now the Broncos are rivals for a possible AFC wild card spot.
Hah I can see it now... Giants go like 2-14 and get the top QB prospect who ends up being their Franchise QB while the Jets end up like 5-11 and just missing out
Yes it is. I'm not faulting the Jets for winning. It's been enjoyable seeing such a lousy team outplay expectations, but this has the makings of another classic Jets moment that distinguishes these two franchises
Flexing isn't until later in the season. NBC would gladly flex out of it if they could. In other injury news, JJ Watt is out for the season.
Actually, according to the NFL website, they can start flexing as early as week 5 (now), but they have to announce it 12 days out (I'm guessing OAK/MIA on 11/5 is as good as flexed already). I'm actually surprised they didn't flex the the Giants out the moment they hit 0-4.
^Wow, unbelievable. I never want to see anyone hurt, not even Tom Brady. I did used to have this T-shirt, though. Oh, fine, it was a present!
