According to John Clayton, (who just reported to ESPN) that the Lions have offered the #9 pick to the Jets for Abraham and a third.

Saw this and wanted to post it. Sorry if it has been mentioned already. I would do this in a heartbeat. Only Millen would be so stupid to offer this. Come on Jets, make the right move please.

I'd also do this in a heartbeat. I'd haggle and try to make it #9 for Abraham and a 4th though

if this is true lets trade him right now. If we have the #4 and #9 we can get Brick and Lendal White. That would be fing amazing.

That would be amazing. I can't get out of my mind to somehow draft AJ Hawk. Don't know why. I am obsessed with getting him. Him and Vilma would be nasty.

4 and 9 would be great. We could get D'Brick, Hawk, Or Williams at 4 and Cutler or Davis at 9.

    And unnecessary.

    This team needs offensive gamebreakers.

You're right. D Brick with White or Williams would be nice. Or D'Brick and Young.

Lets all pray that Millen doesnt get fired before the deal goes through.

If this trade does happen then Mario Williams will be the pick at 4 to replace Abe.

Or Abraham and Legree because I hate that piece of shit. If we had those 2 picks.....man.....we could due some stuff.....like even trade the 9th pick or take D'Brick and Deangelo or Michael Huff or Tye Hill or Mario Williams or Haloti Ngata....imagine the possibilities......Maybe Cutler would still be there but I doubt it.

I would give up the third and then trade down from 9 to recoup the 3rd round pick we traded away. Still can't imagine Millen being that dumb but stranger things have happened..

Hmmm. . . maybe we can throw some McDonalds gift certificates in, or something. I'd almost feel guilty taking that deal.

4 and 9 could put together a nice RB/QB combo, then staggering the total years on their rookie deals, would go a long way toward making the Offense stable going forward...........

young at 4. if he's not there, we gotta take mario williams. he is the best talent on the board. forget cutler. look at his numbers against big teams. they arent pretty. young has the balls to play for ny. at no.9, i say go vernon davis. bolster our recieving corp.

i can definitly live with drafting williams and davis but young and davis would be the draft of the century and fitting to if it was the first draft without bradway as GM!!

No chance. We are not drafting Defense with that pick. I don't think there will be a draft pick used on DE if and when Abe goes. I thik Thomas will get the starting job. Personally, I know he isn't great but I wanna see his speed...

If we are in fact switching to the 3-4, we need another LB, and Hawk is the best to come out since Vilma. Let's pair them up.

Trade down from 9 and get the best available RT and a 2nd rounder. Package our 2nd rounder with some other picks to move up into the end of the 1st round and gran Mangold.

With the 2nd rounder we got in the first trade, take Croyle. With our 3rd round picks grab the best available NT and CB.

Our front 5 is set on O, and we have a potential QB of the future.

Our front 7 is set on D, and we have a guy to push Miller.
