Brett, it's Jeff Fisher with the St. Louis Rams. Jeff Fisher. I used to coach the Titans. No, the Tennessee Titans; used to be the Oilers. I coached them to a Super Bowl. No, we didn't win, came up a yard short. Yes, I know, a yard short is as much a loss as a 21 point blow out.

Listen, I'm calling because I was wondering if you were interested in coming out of retirement and playing QB again in the NFL? really? that is great! I know, you don't have to sell me on your arm, I am sure you still have what it takes.

Great. I will have the front office draw up the paperwork and have a plane come pick you up. Absolutely, shoot. Who is our offensive coordinator? Brian Schottenheimer, you worked with him...yes, I know. Yes. I agree. Fuck that guy.

Well, I'm sorry that we couldn't get this to work out.

Ha, that's the 1st thing I thought when I heard they reached out to Favre...... NO WAY that was happening again, although it would've been fun to watch that trainwreck.

Favre is reportedly suffering from memory lost. Sad stuff.

Last time I heard, JaMarcus Russell is on the street. Former #1 overall. Wanna take a shot at him?

P.S. Long time no see. Was your ban lifted finally?

But he is a good OC. [Or so he claimed.]

Except there is a sharp difference between what Sanchez was able to accomplish with the team that drafted him vs Russell and the Raiders. Not to mention the weight difference. Believe you me it's not every day a team releases a QB they traded up to get, had a winning record with, got to within game away from the Super Bowl twice and is still relatively young.

The ship has sailed. There is nothing you can do about it. Move on already.

That doesn't change the fact the Jarmacus Russell compare is a terrible one.
