Our defense just shut them down completely. Our offense was effective, everything went right in this game.
Gotta say didn’t expect it. I saw a fair amount of bills fans from tv but can’t speak to the actual in stadium amount. Jets dominated the bills and although 10-7 at the half, the score never indicated how dominating we were. Jets played well, credit has to go to the coaching staff for that too. Last night was a dominating win. I enjoyed it very much. If the games were 3 quarters, we would be 7-2. Dang it. Well, we are getting there. Sign Cousins next year and we have a team. Still not made my peace with Bowles. Is it him or is it the coaches he brought in?
You've got to give the entire CS some credit, we already eclipsed the Vegas over/under games won. Nobody thought we had any talent, but the team is scrappy and has a young core for the most part. The D was swarming the bills last night, the are motivated to play, that's the CS. What i didn't like: they seemed to coast a little in the 4th once the game was pretty much put away, Then the Bills get the onsides kick. They have lost 3 games this season by blowing 2nd half leads, they cannot afford to take their foot off the gas, they are not THAT good. That also goes on the CS
I'm more impressed with what Morton has done with this offense and Josh McCown than what Bowles has done with the overall team. Morton is the only reason I wouldn't mind getting a young QB because I do think he can develop one. However, I've been a huge advocate of getting Kirk so we'll see what happens.
When the Bills finish 9-7 and miss the playoffs again I’ll smile knowing their slide started with this game. Morton is going to save Bowles job.
When Fireman Ed led the chants last night it was the loudest I've heard the stadium in a very long time, and that was with the stadium full of Jills fans. I don't know what people have against the guy (jealousy?) but he needs to lead the chants. The stadium was rocking. I really don't care about the guy one way or another, he's a Jets fan and he does a damn good job of leading the best chant in all of sports so I say he needs to come back. Still not sure what he did to deserve all the hate from Jets fans, did he bang your wife?
