Why do people seem to think the Patriots GAF about what the Jets do. Belichek is a repeat SB winning coach. Whether Bowles got extended or not changed nothing in the Jet/Patriot dynamic. They would have still beaten the Jets on a regular basis. Belichek has his own aging team to worry about. He's not thinking about 2020, just getting to the 2018 SB again. Obsession isn't healthy and Patriot Obsession is even worse than Giant Obsession.
He's probably thinking more about his legacy than ever bother about thinking about us honestly. What the hell does Woody have on him that bites his craw? The Pats totally dominate our division and the entire NFL. The competition in the league is a joke.
Cmon now U are supposed to be wiser then most on this board so this post is really shocking. It is really quite simple Belly is on level 1 of HCing & Bowels is on level 10 of HCing so we have 2 find a level 1 HC . Hopefully U can figure out the rest yourself. Cmon my post is stating that Belly is at least 10 levels higher then Bowls when it comes to HCing. It had NOTHING to do with the Pats organization

Champ, it isn't breaking news that we need an upgrade at HC. Hell, we need an upgrade throughout the Organization. Bowles got extended but as has been pointed out, its not a bulletproof extension. Same with Macc. Even with the extension, I think the rope for both of them is considerably shorter than it used to be. Especially if Macc throws away $100mil in contracts and screws up the draft. Even Bowles has to show more than a "competitive" team if huge amounts of money and dp's are poured into it. Frankly, I DGAF what the Patriots do or don't do. We're not on their level yet.
Unfortunately, I picture the Patriots and the Jets like a scene from Casablanca between Humphrey Bogart and Peter Lorre: Jets: You despise us, don't you? Patriots: Well, if we gave you any thought, we probably would.
OK so the AFC has 16 HCs so why not post your #s 1 to 16 AFC HCs & then maybe U will understand what I am saying. Just so you know my rating for Bowels is the 10/16 grouping whereas Belly is the Primo. If my rating is correct then how do U expect us to beat him which is the thrust of my original post?
I go back to 1965 & I was at the 68 Oak/NYJ PO game that we won & sent us to SB3 which to this day was the greatest home game ever played. As for the Johnson's I have been posting how dumb they are for years but until your post most do not choose to accept it

See there is that damn middle of the road once again. that for almost 50 years have gotten us no where. I know if I was the owner with the resume that MCC & TB have with us they would have both been fired 1 minute after the Pat game yesterday but I suspect they both come cheaply which is the ONLY reason they were extended
So why do U not rank the 16 HC in the AFC. Bowles to me is not higher then 10 but more towards 16 of 16
No play-offs and Bowles is gone next year Possibly Maccagnan too, depending upon how the season plays out
