I know that we have Clemens vs. Pennington posts popping up all the time but we haven't had a poll on it since March. I want to se whether the opinion of TGGers has changed from then, whe 70% of us were calling for Clemens to start So if you're Mangini, who's starting against the Fins Week 1?
After hearing about how Penny and Clemens did today...I'm starting to get a little concerned. Not a lot...just a little.

I really do believe Chad's going to come out on top by the end of training camp. Call me crazy, but that's what I believe.
Because we'd much rather have the Joker as our QB. If we don't know what the hell he's going to do think about how bad it would be for defenses.
with this new revamped line and thomas jones and leon washington running the ball i dont see how you dont give the veteren chad pennington the start...he is by far the best qb we have and def one of the best pocket qbs in the league imo...no he doesnt have a cannon but if i recall last season he had a bomb to coles the second or third offensive play against the steelers...so now we have keller who can be a big distraction to defenses and we have coles and cotch on the outsides...this team looks solid to me and to take the chance on an unproven qb like kellen is foolish, give chad the start and i dont think one jet fan will end up regreting it!
that was Kellen Clemens...it was a flee flicker to Coles on the 2nd play from scrimmage. Coles ended up hurting his ankle on that play. and no, giving Chad the start would be detrimental to the offense. Now is the time to give Kellen his fair shake at QB. Chad had his shot and clearly isnt the QB he was pre-injury
