Oh yeah, and put me back in ignore.

I’m going to discus Mayfield here and Bell im another thread and Mack in another thread so if you feel you can’t add anything to THIS thread other than stalking and insults, leave it alone.

Stop detailing a thread where folks want to discuss an NFL player who is obviously worthy of being an NFL starting QB as a raw rookie.

    Stop derailing it.

    Put me on ignore.

I think it fair at this point to discuss the player and for folks to stop derailing it with insults.

I was a dick early on, as was SolidGoldHarbaugh but at this point, he needs to cut the shit.

Mayfield is playing a respectable QB and it’s okay for some of us to discuss it.

It’s not okay to keep bringing up shit from weeks ago.

I’m talking about Mayfield from now on, good or bad.

    Let’s stop the derailing.

Looks like they are having fun in Cleveland.

This is what I want for our Jets for the next 12-15 years--Darnold isn't the same personality but he can bring us these highlights.

Lol at about 2:50 with the handoff.

Hmm, fingers crossed we made the right choice but Baker does ooze confidence.

He's a good QB and the confidence thing is infectious.

I still believe Darnold is a more talented QB.

He's never going to be the Mayfield running down the field screaming type, but he can be emotional.

    He ain't Eli.

We never had the choice to take Baker.

True but I meant more as a fan group, a lot of laughter went the Browns way for the Baker pick at 1

Mayfield having a day, 4 TDS (franchise rookie record) on 18 of 23.

5 straight games of 2 or more TD passes.

    And winning.

I’m happy for him and Cleveland, they are also riding Chubb for 25+ carries a game, which is the best way to make it easy for a young QB to break into the league. Nice to have immediate impact from drafted players.

I want the browns to make the playoffs next year, it’s good for football.

It's clear that Mayfield can play at the NFL level. The question is how good will he become.

Darnold would be having just as good success as Mayfield is in Cleveland. People don't realize just how awful this offense and coaching staff really is. Almost no QB could succeed here.

As much as I hate to say it, I don't think that's true. Darnold would be doing better in Cleveland than he is here, but for now Mayfield is the better QB.

He's also better because of the situation, lol.

How well do you think Mayfield would be playing if he was on the Jets? This coaching staff is simply a disaster and an abomination.

Not as well as he is with the Browns but better than Darnold.

Well, how good can you be with a shit everything in NY and a boot on your foot? Sam is probably kicking soccer balls with that thing on in his backyard out of boredom. I think the injury was exaggerated and NOW the Jets are trying to protect their investment. o_O

I don't think this has to be Darnold vs. Mayfield. They have both been very impressive rookies. Darnold maybe less with stats and more with intangibles.

The on non Jet rookie QB I really care about is laughing at Josh Allen.

Next year is the year both Mayfield and Darnold should blossom. The Browns are really a team on the rise. I loved their draft in April taking Mayfield, Ward and Chubb and I like it even better now. The Jets with a few added pieces, new CS and a 2nd year Darnold could make a huge jump next year similar to this year's Bears.

The Browns and Jets should both be exciting teams to watch for the next 15 years.

Yup. As well as Mayfield is playing, I still think Darnold is the superior player and if the Jets do right by him, he will make us a consistent contender for 12 years.

But the Browns are definitely on the rise.

Only on a fan board has Darnold been impressive. Darnold has not been impressive.

Baker with a pick 6 and then an INT on his next pass.

Can't wait for the "I told you so".
