This started out as a thread trashing Mafield’s ability. I’m a Jet fan first but a football fan second and when I see a player some of us thought was an NFL player but had to read psychopathic hate for the guy, I’m just going to respond. If you don’t want to read about Baker Mayfield, don’t click on a thread about...Baker Mayfield.
Single game is 7 TD's. He did set the record for most TD's to begin season with 10 in first two games (there have been other back to back games with more TD, but not to start season).
So apparently Hue Jackson has realized what everyone else has and he’s naming Mayfield the starter. He must be suitably impressed. Where is that dude who said “and FWIW jackson already said he isn't committed to starting mayfield so even his own coach wasn't very impressed and he's seen more of him then either of us”.

Baker Mayfield just took over that franchise and that city. He’ll hit some bumps but he’s the starting QB from now on. Pretty good for a 25 year old 5’-9” bust with no arm from a conference that doesn’t play defense who was always throwing to wide open receivers and even then most of them were behind or low or high or inaccurate and can’t make NFL throws. Lol.
