Lol. You were on here lecturing the board on Mayfield on how the draft was gonna go down. One silly preliminary tweet and you bailed. Please. I'm not surprised tho.

I must’ve watched a different game. I thought he looked poised, was very aware of his surroundings and navigated well to buy extra time. Ball placement was decent as well. Good debut. I’d be happy if Darnold puts up a similar showing.

I only saw the first two drives but I completely agree. He was playing better than the stat sheet indicated.

LMAO At the Mayfield haters...kid would have done fine here and John Dorseys no idiot

Baker was on target and had a few dropped balls but DID YOU SEE HIM EXTEND PLAYS he must have converted at least 3 3rd and shorts etc...nice TD in endzone

Between T Taylor Mayfield Njoku and others the Browns won't be an easy win

As a man of Irish ancestry, I find this offensive

  6. Mm nah..lets just gloss over all of this kind of stuff.Thats for other QB evaluations..not Baker..no.In fact..he doesnt even need an actual final grade. His college completion % in the most pro oriented QB demanding system in the NCAA is all we need to see..any other potential concerns we’ll just chock up to “Moxie”

Apparently Baker Mayfield's greatness is now confirmed. Bloviating at it's finest.

I didn't see much of the game, but when I turned it on I thought I caught his first appearance as a pro. Didn't he drive them down the field for a TD straight-away? That's impressive, IMO. If Sam does that for us tonight we'll all pee ourselves with joy.

Josh Allen might be able to get away with drifting away from the pocket and making a rocket throw 40 yards down the field, but Mayfield cannot. I saw that a few times last night.

Mayfield was everything I thought he would be, but I am interested to see how he plays when there's pressure.

3 & out against Giant starters.

He did look way better than Eli's backup...what's his name.

Tyrod looked pretty good. The Browns ain't going winless.

Saw some positives, saw some negatives.

Positives - I like his awareness of distance to first down. He knows where the marker is, he scans the field, and when the play is there to make the run and get out of bounds and no one is open, he takes it. Some good pocket awareness.

Negatives - He's got happy feet. Wasn't planting and throwing and you could see it affected his accuracy. He did make some really nice throws so odds are if he can calm down and get his footwork solidified, we'll see better numbers.

David Webb looked AWFUL. He honestly felt a lot like watching Hackenberg. I have friends who are Giants fans who justified the Barkley selection by saying Webb is their future after developing behind Eli. Hahahah, good luck with that.
