Have not found any links of the pro-day. Apparently Baker has a private workout with the jets scheduled
headband is gonna make him famous here in NY ... wasn't a fan of Mayfield before, but considering the circumstance, if he's available you gotta look to take him. Mac will for sure.
I can already see the stadium being filled with fans wearing white headbands dawning his jersey He has some negatives (attitude/short) but I just feel like he would excel here for some reason. His personality would match this team and I think aside from his football ability, he would bring swagger to this team and a identity. Something the jets don't have
In with the fucking headband. Mayfield is going to be hated by everyone except the fanbase of the team that has him. It's going to be great.
If he has a positive attitude, he will be a good player for the Jets. When things go wrong, I don't want to see this guy sulking and complaining and causing issues that's my only grip. When things go bad, how will he react? I know the kid is accurate and is a gamer, while he might not have displayed a lot of tight window throws, he is a good decision maker. If he has a great attitude, he will bring a great voice of reason.
The Giants having 5 there is most interesting, followed by the Broncos. 2 teams many are thinking will pass on a QB have a full compliment of personnel there. I can't see the Giants taking Baker at #2, but if they trade back a bit maybe they shock the world.
No one can tell for sure of course, but he showed a lot of character in the Okla-Okla. St. game. I think OU went up by three scores early and OSU came right back to even the game. Didn't seem to phase Mayfield. He just went about his business leading the team downfield for another score. The entire game was a seesaw battle. By the way, the same could be said about the opposing QB Mason Rudolph in that game. There was no quit in either of them.
Imagine how we would be talking about this person if he were 1.5 inches taller https://www.si.com/nfl/2018/03/22/baker-mayfield-advance-analytics-nfl-draft-oklahoma-pff
Whole nother discussion altogether. I'm not surprised to see something like this. I have been interested in seeing the Wonderlic results and have been almost expecting a similar result. Do they even do the Wonderlic anymore?
