I didn't see the game (thankfully!), but the feeling I get from this is that the fans care far more than this team does. But I'm getting pretty close to flipping that, and not caring at all. What's the point?
Yeah, but they're in the paper every week. Do you really want to read/hear every week how their new FQB is winning them games, while the SOJ's rely on their "impregnable defense" and continue the poor-to-mediocre performances for another decade or two?
Great decision. It was brutal. The worst part is Tampa Bay played terrible. Fitz was pathetic. AND STILL the Jets found a way to be worse.

I just finished watching the game after work. So disappointed. Borderline disgusted really. That game just simply had to be won. I know NFL teams never do this and after McCown put the TD pass into Robby's hands albeit 20 inches out of bounds maybe I was wrong but I think I would have sent Petty out there for that drive. It obviously just wasn't happening today. Send Petty out there and let him start slinging and who knows... maybe hit a miracle. Season is screwed now IMHO. A win today would have kept things interesting for the next 3 weeks anyway. Now we're just in no mans land with no chance, no draft pick etc. Very disappointing.

The Giants absolutely do matter if for no other reason, Woody decided it was easier to share a stadium than build one giving his team a true home field. We're lucky the Giants are tanking this year as they're making the Jets look better than they really are.
But... McCown is the best thing ever to have happened to the Jets and in particular, Todd Bowles this year.

It's not about "reading" about them...I actually almost never read an article about them, but it's virtually impossible to ignore them, especially when the Jets played in GIANTS Stadium.
