"Matt's dad was my high school defensive line coach from when I was at Elizabeth,” Bowles said. “I watched Matt grow up and go to Delaware and play football after that a little bit. We coached together in Philadelphia. So, I've known Matt pretty much his whole life. His dad is a heck of a guy and I've known him pretty much, it seems like forever. Outstanding coach, very intelligent.”

Impossible. He and Arians are bestest friends.

That’s why Arians wouldn’t even think about the Jets after his bestie just got fired.

The NFL's fascination with Todd Bowles continues. Any defensive assistant or unemployed coach who was a DC in the past would kill for the opportunity to polish their resume with that defense, and this is the guy the Bears want? I just don't get it.

The Bears is THE MOVE but in Todds case he can only IMO make the Bears def look worse next year and not better and IF he goes with Ariens the guy is old and Bwles could possibly take over for him when he leaves,,,other than that Im thrilled he's not here
