Manually update the rosters throughout free agency? IE...Browns gets Bentley...Rams Chavous...etc. etc. I also raise some of the players overalls when they get signed and whatnot, like Keomatu, he was 73 overall and bumped him to 82 for the deal he got since thats how Madden gets their ratings, by the size of their contract most of the time...
I love Madden just because of not being able to do this. I just love signing all fa's by cutting guys...even if i'm in cap hell... i offer huge contracts to all of them...any one i want i get. I wish it were really like that. I guess for George Steinbrenner it kinda is though.
the only thing i usually do is the OL simply because I have the pc version so I dont know about the game systems but if you trade players other then Olinmen they lose all thier stats. but what I will do sometimes is say we pick a guy up late like say Ty klaw hadnt been on the team after I updated the game like the 2005 version he was still with the pats and coles was with the redskins still so before I got the 2006 version when I started my franchise I traded for them this way they kept thier stats
I have almost all of it done on mine. When the team is ineligible for the move, I sign the worst player at that position on Free Agency and release whoever was signed until they get thei replacement. The overalls come out screwed up though.
i usually just go by the online updated rosters, but since they dont update offseason, i did all the fa moves the other night and i created some rookies and sent them to the teams in my mock draft
I just can't believe their is actually someone out there who does what I do with manuak updates...I'm up to Will Allen on Miami...Everythin is pretty much caught up, even Matt Murphy on the Texans...KFFL sits right next to my TV so it makes it easy to do the updates.
