I didn't watch it either, but it was discussed on every program on ESPN all day today.

You only sign him if you are one #1 WR away from the Super Bowl. He's obviously very good, maybe the best. But he's old. And he's a headache. He's not someone you give up picks/assets for if you are a team in rebuild mode.

One's a 21 year old rookie and the other is a first ballot HOFer and arguably the GOAT who can wave his hand full of SB rings to say STFU when Brown gets out of line. Yes, the JETS need talent, so I get what you're saying but this isn't an apples to apples comparison...

Don't want him... we need to build a new culture here and this guy would be nothing but a headache.
I'd rather see if we can swing a deal for Mike Evans, a younger player without all the baggage & someone who could actually grow with Sam.

Antonio Brown is yet another prima donna WR that is worth neither the price tag nor the headache. Can you name me the last time a prima donna WR lead his team to the SB and won? I don't think it's ever happened actually. Some might say well what about Jerry Rice? He wasn't a prima donna and he had Montana and a stacked team, and he was the GOAT.

In today's NFL you are much better off spending the money on QB, LT, and pass rusher. You can't be spending $20 million a year on an idiot receiver. Owens and Moss never won a damn thing.

Rooney says hard to see brown back with the Steelers next season.
This should make for a fun offseason.

I hope we aren't dumb enough to go after him.... He's a great player but needs someone to keep him in check and we certainly don't have anyone to do that

The Spittsburgh locker room is falling apart. Word has is that Roethlisrapist and Antonio Brown do NOT get along at ALL and that it's been going on for a few years now. Between Bell and Brown, please, Jets, just stay away. None of that is a reflection on their respective talent, but ixnay on the overhay on the contracthay. My 2nd grade pig Latin is a little rusty, but I'm sure that somehow managed to come across.

Antonio Brown posted something on social media of himself with a Photoshopped 49rs jersey on (or so I've heard, because I don't belong to social media), and Bell wants to play in Miami. Who the fukk wants to play in Miami? So aside from purported attitude issues, go shop at Costco instead of Bergdorf Goodman, Maccagnan. We are not in not in win now mode like the '94 NY Rangers. The last thing I want is an overpaid headache (see Santonio Holmes, Team Captain). Neither player has expressed an interest in playing here so GOOD, but I'm just waiting for the Jets to do something really dumb.

You weren't here for the Ty Law or Matt Leinart hysteria. A shame.

"The woman told police that her wrist was injured in the fall. Police said that she showed them "an abrasion with some scabbing."

    She's a quick healer.

You only draft a place kicker with a first day pick if you're a kicker away from a SB. There's no such thing as a WR away from a SB.

Getting to the SB is being good, being lucky and being deep enough to survive the attrition of the season and change what you do to reflect your roster at the end of the season from the beginning of the season. There is no team in the NFL that's a WR away from the SB.

Brown, while great is likely to cost more than his value. That impacts depth and your ability to deal with attrition.

Sounds kind of simplistic ..but if I was ever a GM my first thought before paying high priced FAs would be "is this something Bill Belichek would do??"

TLDW : Diva WRs get you nowhere and aren't worth the headache.

Brown is good but not worth picking up. I say pass and good luck to whoever does. 30yr old man throwing a temper tantrum. C'mon man!
