The Jets just signed Marquess Willson, formally with the Bears. He had broken his foot for the second time last season. Damm few catches and yards. Another scrub to work out with out much possible gain. At least he is probably cheap. More garbage!
I had him on my fantasy team for a bit 2 years ago, and he had some pretty good games. I understand that was probably more of a fluke, but he has upside. Doesn't hurt to bring him in.
He is 6'3 with a 4.5 40 yard dash time. Wilson had some nice games filling in for Alshon, but Wilson's had bad luck with injuries. I like this signing.
Lol well it's true. I remember him being better than what the career stats actually show when I looked it up.
stats, height, weight, 40 time, address, phone, shoe size, favorite mexican restaurant...... he played for the Bears so you might as well list the entire Bears roster. Then you gotta list the entire Jets roster to see where he fits in. To get an idea of how he overcame adversity at Washington State you gotta list the entire Washington state roster & staff from 2012....
How many times can he break the same foot before he says enough?? We just sent Devin Smith into his future so we replace him with another injury prone/unlucky WR? Makes no sense...
Doubt he even makes it through camp. No guarantee money though and he has shown he can play.what is there to lose? We didn't bring him in to be the answer to the entire offense. Camp needs bodies.
He's 24 (25 by the time the season begins) so he still has some promise. It's just the foot has been literally his Achilles heel to his career. Let's see how he does.
When you look up videos of players and the top 2 are Broken Foot Drops TD You know it's a JETS signing
Every team in the league has like 90 players on their roster right now. There are only so many more people in the world worthy of even getting a look from an NFL team by the middle of June. What can you really expect.
