That is great advice a safe distance lol. I stopped watching them live years ago. Too stressful and angry at the stadium. Especially since I don't live in the New York area dealing with the ignorant local fans.

Let's say Gase had the same exact resume but instead of coaching the Miami Dolphins the last few years, it was some team we didn't hate. Same Adam Gase resume only he got fired from the Detroit Lions or something after stumbling in years 2 &3, after a playoff berth in year 1. Would there be as much outrage from the Jet fan/twitter experts here? I honestly doubt it

I personally don’t care. McCarthy coached the Packers and I didn’t want him either.

If my issue is coming up with a bunch of research because you whined that I was mean to Dowell Loggains then yes I have an issue. You never responded to that by the way.

I dont think it matters much whether Gase wins or loses he will be a short timer. Guys like him who cannot get along with others will quickly wear out their welcome.

All we are now is in count down mode until we get another chance to hire a HC.

Whaaaat? If the guy is a winner his ability to get along will mean zippo. We make the playoffs year after year and he will own this town.
This is not a popularity contest for Mr personality. Bowles migh have won that.

Excited for his press conference tomorrow!!

I am not sold 100% on him, but he is our head coach now and I'm excited to see what he brings. Too many football minds far greater than mine have praised this hire.

    Yeah, lemme see the presser

Gase will taste the the onslaught of NY Press for first time and face the music of tough q's

Those collective voice of Darksiders Over this Hire might force our Rollo to be popping those Rolaids

Browns hire Monken as their OC to go along with Kitchens as their HC.

You have to admit, watching the BROWNS knock it out of the park hurts a bit.

I can't speak for others, but yes, I would feel the same way.

The funny thing with Dorsey is he acts like a lunkhead when he speaks. Something tells me he's trying to get other teams to underestimate him. As opposed to other people who overcompensate...

lets Not lick the Browns’ balls too much. Freddie Kitchens was so no name position coach a month ago. Now I’m supposed to think he’s Lombardi or something?

If Gase is unproven, that guy sure as hell is as well

Yeah I know that, Dorsey's one of the best GMs in the league. But when he speaks, it sounds like he wants to come across as less intelligent than he is. Unlike certain GMs (cough cough) who try to sound smart even though they don't know what they're doing.

The one thing that has eased my concerns a good bit is all of the smart football guys supporting the move...they don’t have to do it, but they have put their names on it

Tony Romo, Boomer Esiason, Kurt Warner, Bill Cowher, Peyton, Alston Jeffrey, Mike Martz and im sure I’m missing a bunch of other ones

All of these guys have some very nice things to say about Gase and expect him to do well with us

His apparent issues are fixable...I’m cautiously optimistic that he can do some things better in his second stop. The potential is certainly there...whereas a guy like Bowles just won’t ever get it as a HC
