I looked over the board and didn't see anything on this...i apologize if i missed it. Have any of you with espn insider checked out the Abraham to the Falcons rumor? Just wondering if there were any details.

If we trade down now that Penny restructured, and we trade Abe, we could have 3 first round picks. An RB and 2 offensive lineman? This is looking good guys..

How would we have 3 first rounders? If we trade down, the only team that has 2 first rounders is Denver, and if we trade down that far, thats crazy.

my bad...i was thinking of our #4 in round 2...which is almost a first rounder. Plus if we trade our #4 pick for a #15 let's say...we could get a second rounder too. And then we could trade those 2 second rounders for another mid-first round pick and have three 1st rounders. But that may not be neccessary depending on who the jets are targeting. anyway...the point was about the Abe to Falcons rumor? Anyone?

i wouldn't call it almost a first rounder

i would barely call the 20th pick a first rounder

Great. Only problem is, we can get an extra first rounder for abe and a third rounder that happens to be 5 spots beneath ours. So why do that when we can get better value?

I doubt it will be anything more than the newspaper article from yesterday that said the Falcons could be interested in Abraham.

At 20 you should be able to get a player to step in and start immeadiately... for us a RT would be ideal there. Atlanta also has the 15 pick... if thats to the pick which you are referring.

what would you call the 20th pick e-x? a "kinda" first rounder? a first and a half rounder? a pre-second rounder? i have no idea what you're talking about.

    thanks pinpointpennington...
