The damage wasn't discovered until November, and doctors usually tell patients to do some pre-hab strengthening prior to any surgery. That can be a six to eight week program. ETA: I should add that I'm not saying this because I believe A-Rod is clean. I just don't think the surgery timing is clear evidence of some kind of cover-up.
It amazes me how unsophisticated these fucking idiot players are. At least BALCO was some state of the art undetectable shit. The only way to get caught there is if the place gets raided. This guy Tony Bosch is just some dumbass selling testosterone cream, HCH, and anabolic steroids. The same shit most people could get in the back of a commercial gym and the same shit (other than HCH) that shows up on drug test results. With all the resources that Arod and the rest of these guys must have, how the hell was this the best they could come up with?
