80s/90s uniforms

    I think I read somewhere a while back that the Jets are going back to those uni's for at least one game this year... any confirmation on that? I'd love to see them wear those again (even if it brings back memories of some truly awful seasons lol).

    They should go back to Kelly green more often... The current green jerseys are horrible

    the current jerseys are great. The 80s are only retro great, meaning once, at a party, with a theme.

    I like the green jersey, the green pants suck.

    Green jersey, white pants is the best combo.

    yeah i like the current jerseys a lot more... but like one of you guys said, it's cool to bring it back every so often just for the nostalgia.

    The single best thing Bill Parcelles ever did for the jets is bring in Curtis Martin.

    The second best thing is to bury those horrible unis.

    I love the old unis with the black in them. I think we should make an updated version of those kelly green unis with the black trim..

    Yuck. No black!

    If they go back to something, let it be the sack exchange era when they first changed the logo and went with the green helmet, My guess is '78 to '83 period.

    I don't know why anyone would want to go back to the old green helmets/80-90's look. Our current uniforms are among the classiest and most classic in the league. Those green bean abominations need to be buried forever. If the Jets ever do ANYTHING from this point on, it should be unveiling the jerseys Namath and company won, as throwbacks (complete with grey facemasks.)
