Brandon Moore Guard 2003-2012. Since he started and finished 142 games hopefully he will be remembered for more than just 1 particular play
Yea the helmet was done and ready but the rest of the uni wasn't apparently for the entire teak (very Jets) Thing is this combo actually doesn't look that terrible. Kinda works despite it being a bit off kilter Also my favorite Falcons uniform look. What they have now is gross
He worked at the Post Office as a mailman after playing football. He retired from there and still coaches football at high school over in Sarasota, FL.
Ah, yes, good old Herm and his metaphors. And lest we forget the obligatory quote of Robertson's can't nobody block me. Or was it nobody can't block me? Either way, very Byronesque.
Humble and wholesome, nice. Glad to hear that he's still somehow involved with football. He looks like he fared pretty well physically. Some of these Old-Timers are in pretty bad shape because of their playing days. It's very sad. I forget what thread it was now but I recently posted something about Jim Otto. His entire body is riddled with arthritis and he had to have one of his legs amputated. Ugh. Earl Campbell is another one that immediately comes to mind. He's one of those guys that I was so glad to have had the privilege to see play. He's practically a cripple now.
He still gets around even after getting both knees replaced as well as both hips replaced. His shoulders and neck have minor issues but he says he will never have surgery on thoses. To this day when I watch some practices, he is still hitting the sled to show the players the correct form!!! Physically he still has he some pain in his shoulders and neck. He has had both hips and knees fully replaced which relieved a lot of his lower body pain.
Still hitting the sled, lol!!! I'm happy he's doing relatively well. We all have our aches and pains, and even people who have never played a contact sport get bad knees and hips so I'd say he's doing purty good. : ) Does he still keep in touch with a bunch of SB III players that you don't hear about much? Cornell Gordon, guys like that? Was he close with Larry Grantham? Poor Larry. He was such a sweet man, I was very sad when he died.
