Amazing how that ab could have been great or terrible if we got nothing and cooled off Chapman too much

They gotta drop Judge to 6 in the order at this point. He's just brutal right now.

So who manages the Yanks in the ALCS with Girardi reportedly due to be fired after this series?

Definitely was not expecting this team to beat the Indians, but hey, short series, anything can happen (including making Kluber look like shit). Great job. Not loving that matchup against the Astros but we'll see.

    I'd even go 7th.

    Gardner-Hicks-Didi-Sanchez-Bird-Holliday-Judge-Castro-Frazier

Time to wipe the dust off Holliday and put him back in the lineup. Headley was 0-12. Ellsbury doesn't strike me as a guy who will be effective as a DH if he's not running around in the field making plays and what not.

Gonna be a tough series. Keuchel owned us a couple years ago in the WC game. Completely different team this year of course.

Not sure why the Indians weren't swinging the bat. Encarnacion's at bat was awful. Did he swing once? He looked at two balls right down the pipe.

Chapman wasn't even throwing his electric stuff at all.

I hope Joe somewhat learned his lesson, just like Joe Maddon did, in trying to stretch out Arroldis Chapman. He's not Andrew Miller or Mo. He's a one inning guy.

Wow. That was a badass road win.... That at bat by Gardner was unreal.

We're onto Houston. Definitely underdogs but this team can hang around.

Not a Yankee fan, but as an outsider watching this series - the scariest thing is they beat Cleveland WITHOUT Judge or Sanchez really contributing. If the staff can keep them in games and those two get hot, they can beat anyone.

Joe's gotta get a couple more guys in the bullpen going. Too many arms have been on ice for way too long. That's not going to work out well in a seven game series.

That was such a fun series. And truly a team effort. Great to build on for the future, but the future could be NOW.

I was calling for Adam Warren all fricken series. Save Green for the 7th. Get Warren some work if we need him in the 5th and 6th or even earlier.

Betances is basically useless. Any baserunner turns a walk or single into a double everytime because he can't hold anyone on and hates to throw over. For that reason I would be looking to use him early in the games if he even makes the roster. Or maybe in a 2nd & 3rd situation or even if the runner already made it to the second.

Dusty Baker strikes again with the asinine decision to bring in Scherzer.
