Good call, but damn Nationals choked completely in that spot.

In hindsight yes, I actually agree though, but lets see what happens after. Of course if Washington wins, its all good, but if San Fran wins this, the coach is going to get killed.

I can't believe so many people have left the game. Couldn’t imagine leaving a postseason game until the final out. Maybe trying to catch a train? Idk when the last train is.

The theme of today taking out the starting pitchers who is pitching well comes back to bit teams in the ass. I would have left Greinke in for another inning even though he was at like 100 pitches.

Dodgers take the lead off the gorgeous Matt Kemp Home run.

That Giants game was nuts, watched the whole thing.

My World Series pick of Angles-Nats is going down in flames.

I missed a lot of baseball and football the last 2 days.

I can thank Verizon. Almost zero Internet access. It was crawling and couldn't even load most pages.

This Angels sweep has to be one of the worst postseason collapses of all time. This team was the top seed, is going up against a wild card team, insanity that they are about to sweep them right out of the playoffs.

Im not even sure about that, they dominated the second half of the season. Its the worst postseason sweep in the history baseball I think, it has to be. This happened to the Cubs back in 2007? but this Royals team was in an elimination game to the A's down 4 runs.....so crazy where they are now.

Regular season means nothing. They dominated it and what happened? They got swept. Bunch of heartless players. Hamilton, Trout, and Pujols didnt do a damn thing.

That game tomorrow is must see tv. The anointed pitching god has to save his team from elimination for a 2nd straight year.

Talk about deja vu. Kershaw mowing down the Cards lineup and then comes the 7th again, two straight singles up the middle which were almost grabbed, and then a 3 run homer to give the Cards the lead. Kershaw is the Peyton Maning of the MLB.

    just amazing

kershaw rolling in both starts, has a multi-run lead in Games 1 and 4 in the 7th...

    and then implodes each time

    October 3: 6 IP, 2 hits, 2 runs, 0 walks, 8 Ks
    October 7: 6 IP, 1 hit, 0 runs, 2 walks, 9 Ks

    so 12 innings, 3 hits, 17 Ks

    pretty awesome line

unfortunately for him, the 7th inning counts, and he winds up with a 7.82 ERA for the series.

So not only did Mattingly bench Puig, he wouldn't even use him to pinch hit.

7-8-9 up in the 9th, Mattingly let Ellis hit for himself (weird), then Ellis got on and he used Puig to pinch-run and Turner to pinch-hit.
