I can't believe Rays made that trade. A's got Lester and Tigers got Price. You can see it now Tigers vs A's ALCS

Oakland must be jealous the Tigers gave up what they did for Price and they had to give up Cespedes for Lester. Or they really don't like Cespedes' prima donna act and were looking for an excuse to deal him.

I'm just happy the Cardinals and Pirates didn't get anything major.

The Cards did get Lackey and Masterson, the former's had a couple of pretty good years in a row and the latter, well the Cards have good success at reclamation projects. It did seem a bit odd they traded Allen Craig to get Lackey though, even if it did clear a spot for Tavares.

Idk, for me it would be a toss up between price and Lester. Although, Lester has more post season experience and is better in the clutch.

The Tigers have 3 Cy Young winners, and Verlander may be the 5th best pitcher in the rotation. Scary. But the A's got Lester and Gomes in exchange for Cespedes, they are primed for a playoff run.

Go Blue Jays (Gotta get that triple crown; picked the Seahawks/Spurs/Blues Jay in 2014 to win the titles)

Rays got raped. They were able to get Wil Myers for Shields and only got Franklin and Smyly for Price? Joke.

Sox made a great trade in getting Cespedes. Craig is solid as well.

Apparently their team is unhappy with getting rid of the 2 guys they did. I like hearing that.

    Twins/Padres

San Diego's replay equipment in the visitors' dugout isn't operational, so the Twins have been disallowed from using their system for the game. This has to be a first. Situation could yield interesting (and expeditious) replay challenges.

I would love to see Kansas City go onto the next round after tonight.

    Stupidity from Jayson Stark.

Not very astute. 1 picked the Dodgers, who are loaded. 2 picked the Pirates, who have to win a one game playoff to even get into a series and are using Volquez. No one picked St. Louis.

Then for the AL, the Orioles got the most votes? No Chris Davis until the World Series, and they probably won't even get there due to their rotation. Tillman, Chen, and Norris? Please.

Only 1 picked the Tigers, another loaded team.

I'd rank Pittsburgh last of the 5 NL teams, and Baltimore would be third at best among the AL teams.

I'd like the know the names of the 3 "astute" executives that picked the A's to win the AL and especially the one that picked them to win the World Series. They've been playing .333 baseball for a month and a half and have to win a one game playoff to even get in.

Either Stark made it all up (always possible when it's anonymous) or he talked to some morons who shouldn't be MLB executives.

Poor Royals. After almost 30 years, they're back in the playoffs, and they're 1 and done.

It isn't over yet. As of now their only down a run. Though if they do lose if I was a fan I'd be ticked off at Perez. That was an atrocious at bat.

I'm not watching. I just got home from work. I saw it as a 4 run game, so I assumed it was over.

Yost is just a terrible manager. He has one of the best bullpens in baseball and he doesn't know how to use it. Tying run at 2nd.

Tie game!!!! Man I love postseason baseball. I didn't get the bunt though. Should have had Dyson steal second and then bunt him over to 3rd.
