That was an insane series. David Freese having one of the best Octobers ever, and then fading into obscurity was great.

Jason Heyward traded to the Cards for Shelby Miller.

Change of scenery could turn J-Hay into an Allstar.

(2015 season)...One thing I just saw in a game I've never seen before. I'm watching Nats-Giants on Sunday Night Baseball and the ump just tossed the starting pitcher for the Giants, Brian Vogelsong in a 1-1 game, bottom of the 5th inning. The announcers said that Vogelsong was frustrated with the calls of the home plate ump all night. It looked like he said something and started walking in the direction of home plate, the ump warned him to stop, he didn't listen and got tossed. Bochy was kicked out, too. The announcers also said the ump was having a bad night balls and strikes wise. I know it's probably happened many times but I've never seen it. I've also never seen a triple play. And never got a ball at a game. Majors or minors.

Been checking out the pennant races on TV, and ESPN has had Rick Sutcliffe doing a lot of games.

Here's Sutcliffe doin' a game, "blah blah blah blah blah. Yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda. Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah. yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda. Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah".

    That is all. Carry on.

Matt Williams prolly gettin' the axe in Washington. That's a bad mix down there and Williams pays the price. A year after winning Manager Of The Year.

If he had a clubhouse of guys that played the game like him he'd have no problems. I don't like Harper, but Papelbon's a fuckin asshole and hopefully gets cut and no one picks him up. That team was dysfunctional like K. Hernandez called early in the season, and was fractured

I loved watching that team meltdown

    Nice matchup tonite.

    Jake Arrieta vs Gerrit Cole

Arrieta gets the Cy Young imo. The dude is a beast. Not sure if I've ever seen a pitcher more solidly built and in as good shape.

    Gonna be interesting

Cubs are actually favored in Pittsburgh tonight 'cause of Arrieta.

I'd hate to have to face him 3 times in a 7 game series

Great play by Pirates pitcher intentionally hitting Arrieta. They needed something to wake them up trailing 4-0 in the 7th.

Good game. Much better than the AL game.

The TBS broadcast is much better too. Telecast and announcers

David Price is the only pitcher in MLB history to lose his first 6 career postseason starts.

Jays in bigggg trouble. Huge win by Texas and they have Hamels on the mound tomorrow.

Thats how dangerous this first round is.

Did anyone see the crazy play that happened in the Rangers Blue Jays game? Game was tied 2-2 and Texas had a runner on 3rd. The catcher threw it back and it hit the batter, so the runner took home to give them the lead. Now Toronto tied it up 3-3 in the bottom 7. They are playing this game underprotest now. If Toronto wins, is it still protested since they won?

And as I typed that.. Batista 3 run homer. 6-3 Jays

What an inning. Nothing is better than Cole Hamels' team committing 3 straight errors and losing the lead they gained from that strange catcher-pitcher exchange

Encarnacion had to step out of the box to ask the fans to stop throwing things and this was after the PA announcer had requested it and they had put it up on the scoreboard

Could explain why Toronto tanked the final week and played minor league lineups twice. They wanted to get away from the crazy drunks.
