Now that the NHL and NHLPA finally came to their senses, it'll be interesting to see how the team looks. Doesn't help that Henrique's still out a couple weeks after getting hurt in Albany. They'll probably start on the road whenever the schedule begins (either the 15th or the 19th), because of Disney On Ice coming to the Rock later this month.
I know Vochenkov broke his ankle playing in the KHL a little while back too, so hopefully he'll be ready. I'm still bitter about the lockout, so I'm not nearly as excited about the start of the season as I normally am. I'm sure it will only be a matter of time before I get real into it again though. It'll be interesting to see how the Devils compensate for the loss of Parise.

No, he's fully healthy and should get back to a 60-65 point level this year (though it's been two years since he's been at that level after the MacLean disaster in '10-11 and the injury last year). Our vet D are all playing tonight with Larsson scratched, hopefully a trade comes soon. Not sure Gomez is coming here, they don't seem to think Butler's the answer up front, and I don't think Tedenby's the answer.
Lets go Devils tonight. Fuck those idiots. I know the Rags are the Devils biggest rivals but when it comes to hating a team due to sheer personnel, the Flyers make it easy. Their fans complaining about a "trap" last year (lolz) is an added bonus.

After watching 24/7 last year I thought Giroux came off as a smarmy douche. Brayden Schenn learned the hard way not to fuck with Kovalchuk. I'd imagine that Flyer fans have similar disdain for Kovy, Clarkson and the like. This is after all one of the most rugged and hard hitting rivalries in sports.
