Am I the only one who doesn't think it's that awful of a decision to go for the TD there instead of taking the 3? They're down 18 with 8 minutes to play and their defense has sucked balls all night.
I don't like him. He shows flashes now and again and has the talent. I just don't see anything special with the guy. He often has bad body language and makes too many dumb decisions. He doesn't come across as a great leader, but what does that truly mean coming from me- it's not like I'm in the 49ers locker room or on the sidelines. He needs to start the rest of the season, so long as he's healthy because the backup is putrid. The final drive executed by David Carr yesterday was easily one of the top 10 worst drives I have seen in a quarter century of watching NFL games. It was absolutely horrendous.
It's hard to evaluate Alex Smith's potential. The 49ers are a losing organization. I'll bet that Arizona would take Smith tomorrow if they could.
Yeah, Arizona definitely would. I can't bury Smith yet. With proper coaching and age he could become worthwhile. I do not like him at this time, but I do recognize that he has some potential.
Yeah, Coughlin needs to talk to these guys about holding onto the ball. With an 18 pt. lead and 5 minutes to play, the last thing you want is to give the ball away.
Why am I still watching this shit? It's basically background noise at this point but there's gotta be something better that I can put on.
Not sure if you're being sarcastic but turnovers suck no matter the situation, especially at the rate that the Giants have been committing them this season.
Not being sarcastic at all. At this stage of the game, the Giants should just run the clock out. They just gave Dallas 7 points.
