-Pedro will get K number 3,000 against the Dodgers on August 25th.
Let's see how quickly his rehab happens - this could be sooner

-Glavine will get win 300 against the Nationals on July 28th.
If Tommy G does it tonight, I'd be only 3 days off

-Sammy Sosa will hit 11 HR's, hitting #10 (for 600) against the Astros on June 22nd. He hits 1 HR the rest of the year while he sucks (because he no longer cares) and is eventually cut sometime in July.
He hit in on the 20th - I was only 2 days off - but I was wrong about him fizzing out, even though he has a little bit.

-Divisional winners: Yankees, Tigers, Angels, Mets, Brewers, Dodgers, Wildcards: Red Sox, Phillies.
All of my divisonal winners are leading their division except the Yankees, the Phillies are still in the wildcard race and the Yanks and Red Sox could very easily switch positions.

Ha. Haha. Hahaha. Good stuff, very entertaining. Extremely far fetched, but entertaining.

The Yankees are on fire right now, the offense is coming together at the right time, and if they could just find a little bit of consistency in the starting pitching staff they're a dangerous team. I don't think they'll overtake Boston, but I do think they'll take the wildcard spot. I'm just saying it might happen.

They could win it..it could be '78 all over again but there would be nothing easy about it.

For as great and complete as the Red Sox look this year, they're master chokers in August and September. How many years in a row have the Yankees been this close and the Sox just blow it? It's a definite possibility with them, and especially since the Yankees offense has been upstoppable lately.

My paint comment had nothing to do with baseball. It was in reference to that kid posting ellipsis points and following them with a trademark.
