Jets had a pretty good young quarterback to insert into the system back then.

How bad is your season if you wished you'd still had Hermie as your head coach?

Oh, God, please don't get me started on Herman Edwards quotes. I'll be here for 6 mos. at least. Things started to go downhill when players were getting injured for not conditioning enough. Club Med. I didn't dislike Herm nearly as much as everyone else did towards the end, but then when he said he was staying and then took the job in KC everyone wanted his head on a spike. It was ridiculous to me. Yeah, it was disingenuous of him for sure, but give the people what they want and they still complain.

Herm was handed a solid team with a great QB prospect and wound up getting traded to the KC Chiefs for a fuckin 4th round pick.

That should tell you everything you need to know about Herm.

Between this and the Buttfumble most notable things the franchise is known for in almost 50 years...

I noticed you were no where to be found during the 3 game win streak.

Well, that's kinda like asking me to name all the great captains that piloted the Titanic, but I'd say Todd, Kenny O, and Chad all had a couple of decent seasons that at least gave me hope. Vinny of course had his late career renaissance, but really, that was only one great year and a couple of slightly above average ones. And that's being generous.

We've had a lot of really tall midgets at QB to root for over the years, unfortunately.
