So I take it it worked. Wow. Let me just say there was a lot of military personnel at the game Sunday in uniform. I'd feel like a real fucking piece of shit if I bought a military ticket and then had to face those guys. Granted they'd never know but if anyone does this I hope your conscience eats at you until you throw yourself off the upper deck.
i would never use that code. and cant even look at erin andrews without feeling like a dirtbag after the peeping tom video. leaked porn tapes are different.if the woman knows she is being video'd, she is welll aware it will be shared.
No need to feel like a POS, on Jet Nation someone who is actually in Milatary said they gave those things out on base and said take as much as you like and give to wife, kids nephews etc. Those ones you buy for 15 bucks with the damm 7 dollar "service" fee is just a back-door scam to unload tickets.
http://www.ticketmaster.com/event/000042D3DB407E03?artistid=805987&majorcatid=10004&minorcatid=8 Where it says military discount select the number of tickets and type "military" in the box. This will pull up the discount tickets. If there is no military discount box then you are probably looking at a Jets away game, make sure its a home game. And from what I hear you dont need ID, they dont check.
Here is the link for the Atlanta game- http://www.ticketmaster.com/event/000042D3DB407E03?artistid=805987&majorcatid=10004&minorcatid=8 Just go through the Jets site. Highlight tickets, then click schedule and get tickets for the game you want.
You got that right, and they would be giving them out not selling them for $25 each including fees. The Jets need to fill the place since they would lose more in local TV revenue from a blackout than from those 25,000 seats they can't sell
If you do singles you can sit in the lower level for 15 bucks, for pairs or more it is UD but still pretty good. My friend is military and wants to buy us 2 for the Falcons game but I am not sure if I will be able to go with one of the tickets. Anybody have an opinion on whether I should accept this or if it will work?
It works, do it. Lots of people already have. Plus if you are buying secondary market tickets some scalper already bought these and threw them up on stub hub for 50 bucks. So you might pay double and end up with it any how. There is no markings on the ticket.
Jets will soon have a National Highway Transporation Safety day. They can then get free crash text dummies to fill up the upper corner seats at the next three games so we can appear to have a sell out.
I just recieved mine today and they have "MILITIA" printed across the top. Not sure if they check for that.
If you're buying these and you're not affiliated with the military, YOU'RE A SCUMBAG. Sure, it's a marketing strategy by the organization. HOWEVER, if you're not in the military, with anyone from the military, or received these from someone in the military, DON'T ABUSE THIS! When I was stationed in California we used to go to Chargers games with the same type of promotion. The same crap happened out there, and people abused the tickets. They then pulled the promotion. Let those in the armed forces use this benefit. If there's a limited amount, and someone loses out on a seat for that price, I hope you trip down the concrete stairs on your way to the seat. Don't be a dick.
So this weekend there will either be alot of people getting in cheap or alot of people stuck out in the parking lot. My guess is no one will care at the gate as long as the ticket scans legit. Its a backdoor way of selling out the game. The reason I think this is what if I was in the military and couldnt go and gave my tickets away to a relative. Do you think the Jets would turn him away? I doubt it. Once its game day all they care about is money spent INSIDE the stadium.
