When asked if Sanchez's pisspoor year was caused by Tebow's presence, Landry said no and went on to say that Tebow wasn't on the roster the previous season.

very awkward interview.

It seemed Landry was restraining himself from issuing warranted criticism of Sanchez

The question is, should we keep the dirty Landry in house?

I hope Idzik and Landry work out a deal and he remains a Jet for the rest of his career.

I want to see a full season of Landry/Bell at safety with Revis and Cro at corner.

It's too risky and will cost too much money to give Landry a long term deal. If we didn't have cap issues then we'd have a shot but we can't invest big $ in him this offseason.

How much do you think Landry is going to get paid? I love the way he plays and think he fits perfect in Rex's defense.

I doubt any team really throws big money at him which could work in our favor. We could basically say go find a deal and we'll match it if its worth the price.

I really like LaRon, he fits perfectly in this defense but, I think that he would be asking for $6-$7 mil. I have this feeling that if we resign him to a multi-year deal he will get injured again. Hopefully not, but that's something that goes through my head when I think about the Jets resigning this beast.

That's Ed Reed money.

Who the fuck will be giving a 34-year-old safety coming off a sub par season 6-7 million dollars/year?

I wish we could tag this guy if only we paid him a little more last year and kept the right to the tag him. This guy is all over the damn field cracking dudes and is going to be hard to replace.

I was referring to his last contract. But you're right and reed will probably get more than Landry this offseason if he doesn't retire.

That's around the price that I've seen that he'd be asking for. Obviously its not a sure thing. but it seems like a price that he'd be looking for. I would think that if he was looking for around 5 we'd pay him since we gave him 3.5 in a prove it year.

I'd love to have him back, I think he's a Hugh part of why we were able to withstand the loss of Revis, but I don't see it happening.
