with a new offensive coordinator, but more importantly, a new QB coach, i think im willing to give sanchez one more shot (not like i have a choice but wtvr) - Do you guys have any confidence whatsoever that a new staff will change sanchez, or are his faults- like holding onto the damn ball- too intrinsic to ameliorate, regardless of coaching

Funny how things turn out sometimes.. Rex has one last year to turn things around and as fate would have it, so does Sanchez. Both guys seem to be linked as much as Rexy's tattoo suggests doesn't it.

If the Jets can add an offensive lineman and an explosive WR or pass catching RB in the draft that could go a long way to at least giving Sanchez a chance to succeed, something the Jets failed at miserably this season.
I'm really praying the Jets sign Caldwell as I have much more faith in him than Gamble to find the right players to rebuild the offense with.

No. Rex is one year from oblivion. I know he is a little dumb but if he continues to hook his wagon to Sanchez, he deserves to be humiliated. i will settle for firing.

If the Jets can endure the crappy play for a couple more years he might, and I say might end up like Alex Smith, then again why not just go get Smith and cut this unpolished turd?

We need a fucking real TE, one that can block and pass catch. Our offense is usually predictable because of this one area alone, Keller in they are passing or running to the opposite side of him because of his blocking deficiencies

If the Jets are going to suck then it might as well be an unpolished suck that gets a higher pick than a polished suck that swings and misses anyway.

I am so happy beyond words on these 2 dick faces now gone.
QC- Sanchez needs a technician who knows the position not one who plays head games. OC- Jets need someone who understands the strengths and weakness of the offense. Kerley, DKNY, Braylon all strengths especially w/Holmes in the lineup. Problem is the right side is a weakness and you have to call plays and formations to minimize it. But, like I said, I am soooooo fukin happy! |

I am still hoping Sanchez is not on the roster on Opening Day.
For starters, he shouldn't be. |

Thankfully this draft seems to have a lot of quality offensive linemen and skill position players on offense. Hopefully the Jets snag a few.

This. He's on this team next yr cause of his cap #. Hopefully they bring in a good stop gap QB (Moore), and an OC/QB coach that have solid resumes and can fix Sanchez. And if he can't be fixed, then the placeholder QB gets the job.

No, there will be no changes to Sanchez's game except that he'll be holding a clipboard or will be cut before next season. The new GM will be smart enough to know this.

Yes.
Sanchez proved he was a capable QB in his 1st 2 seasons when surrounded by talent on the offensive side of the ball. I've never believed this organization handled him correctly, which was a direct fault of Rex not being an offensive coach. Put him in a position to succeed by surrounding him with proven offensive coaches who know how to develop a QB. He needs to be treated like a rookie, again. That being said, we still need to bring in legitimate competition to challenge him.

I felt that Sanchez played best rolling out (designed roll out, not this run of his life bullshit) or on play action. It didn't seem like he did that at all the past two seasons.

Sanchez needs to be sit behind a good veteran QB and have enough talent and a professional coaching staff in place to have any chance of developing into a sound NFL QB if it's even possible.
It will never happen with Rex Ryan as his HC. |

The fans will not tolerate him being the opening day starter. The Jet organization cannot ignore that simple fact. |
