Default If Jets need a new DC - Rob Ryan ? (Update: Ryan new SAINTS DC)

Saw this little snippet on ESPN. If the Cowboys really shake things up like Jerry Jones is saying and Rob Ryan is fired, Mike Pettine doesn't return, could Rex bring in his brother to manage the defense? Maybe he would trust him a lot more than pettine and pay more attention to the offense/head coaching role?

Rex did want Rob to coach the defense in 2009 but he wasn't able to get out of his contract I believe.

This place, the media, and perhaps the world will explode if that happened.

On a serious note, I would be 'meh' about Rob's defense coming here. They're alright, but they give up a lot of big plays and have a lot of bad penalties.

LOL, but seriously, the servers would be shut down on this place if Rob became the DC.

A picture of Jerry Jones wearing Tony Romo's jersey that barely covers his balls. All the while, Jason Garrett looks on as he spits into his spit cup (seriously, that guy spits every five minutes)

Rob's defense was AWFUL this year. Just let Dennis Thurman run it.

I don't think Rob is nearly as good of a coach as Rex.

I thought I read somewhere awhile back that Rex and Rob wouldn't work with under one another and they both run different style D's. Not exactly sure tho.
