Default OL or OLB?

Assuming we don't trade our first draft pick, would you rather we get a G or RT to finally protect our Qb (whoever that may be), or is there more value in an OLB to complete our defense?

Offensive Line. I think we can draft a decent LB in the 2nd or 3rd.

It all depends on who is available when we pick.

Good point, but obviously we cannot predict that. I'm just wondering whether a top OLB will give us any more "value" than a top RT or G; choosing the "best player available" is pretty hard to do, though, because the positions are so different.

What top OLB would trump Warmack or Matthews?

Right now, I think it would be easier to pick up a starting Guard in rounds 2 or 3, but a pass rushing OLB is a thing of immediate importance.

If Bjoern Werner is not available when the JETS are OTC, then it should be O-line for rounds 1 & 2.

I would love me some Warmack, Fluker, Nassib as 1,2,3.

We have long neglected the Oline the last couple of years... People were like you can find talent later in the rounds but you don't find Pro Bowl Caliber players later I feel ... We definitely don't need a project player we need a insert and destroy kind of player. Oline to protect whomever has the Helm

Good OL talent comes available every single draft. It seems like OLB has been a need since J Abe left. This is the best draft for hybrid OLB's in a long LONG time. Time to truly wash the taste of Gholston out of this franchise's mouth. OL can be addressed in later rounds along w// the rest of the offense

If left tackle was what we needed I would say OL but since what we need is a right tackle, I say OLB. You are more likely to find a right tackle in the later rounds than you are a pass rushing OLB.

I want our next 3 1st rounds to be

2013- Chance Warmack
2014- Anthony Barr
2015- Kevin Hogan, Max Wittek, Marcus Mariota well a QB

Depends on the value available of course, but if both are about equal, offensive line.

Since Coples, Wilkerson and maybe even McIntyre have stepped up, I'd feel better about taking an OLB in the 2nd or 3rd.

The line's performance against San Diego really confirmed this for me. Right now I'm on the Chance Warmack bandwagon.

Would you guys be mad if our 1st 3 picks were Warmack, Fluker and Warford

Our line would be

Ferguson-Warmack-Mangold-Warford-Fluker

Draft Lattimore late and a solid fullback plus Powell and maybe a big TE

OL should be a safer, easier pick.

Anyway, I look forward to an off-season discussing the arm length of OLB draft prospects.
