The way this season has gone I think the only possible result could be Sanchez having a tremendous game causing even more confusion and chaos going into the offseason.

What if....

After the season
The Bills release Fitzpatrick
The Jets cut ties with Mark Sanchez

The Bills sign Sanchez as they believe a change in scenery will do him good and they were impressed by his performances of late against them.

The Jets draft their future QB at some point during the draft (Smith/Glennon/Nassib, etc) but they recognize the youngster will need to learn behind a vet, and pick up Fitzpatrick to take the lumps and groom.

2013 Week 3 NYJ vs. Buffalo, starting QBs are Fitz and Sanchez for opposite teams????
