Reid will be a HC next yr if wants to be. I think norv would be great, Rex would gladly hand over complete control of the offense over b/c he Is friggin clueless about the offense anyway.
Reid wouldnt come to NY and work for douche bag Woody even if Woody fired Rex and Tannenhole. I dont think Reid would appreciate walking around with Woody's finger shoved up his ass all the time.

I'm not going to kick you while you're down. In all honesty, as a Miami fan, I knew sparano was going to play an integral part in the jets meltdown I predicted. Your team must can him if you want to turn things around. Whether that means Rex goes too idk. He is the worst OC in the nfl. Turner would be an enormous improvement and maybe even could salvage Sanchez for a yr or two before you bring in a 1st rd guy. As a dolphin fan though, I'm hoping you retain sparano.

Why would Reid (a guy who wants to pass every play) come to the Jets where Rex Ryan (a guy who wants to run every play) is the head coach?

Sign me up for Norv as the OC. Not as HC but as OC...thats a no brainer from my perspective.

Norv would be a massive improvement. But we need a GM to manage personnel.

Norv shouldn't have a problem with this since Sanchez has beaten Norv every time they've played, including knocking Norv out of the playoffs.

Does HC jump for OC or DC job right after being fired? If a head coach is fired, I'd expect them to sit out at least a year & keep waiting for head coaching positions. Then when they give up on it, they'll accept coordinator jobs.

Also, why would Norv wanna come to the Jets? There's so little talent on the offensive side & the QB isn't showing a lot of potential either. If you're Norv Turner, you go somewhere with talent or join a team with a promising QB to showcase your offensive skills during player development.

Another big factor: Rex most likely burned this bridge with his comments in the media. I know it wasn't on purpose but there were plenty of articles written that Norv was pretty upset. Why would Norv bow his head down to Rex when so many teams out there would be willing to take him on.

Dang I already created a thread about this in the NFL forum. I think the Jets don't want to be NORVED

Looks like sanchez will be back and our qb. So norv turner won't help. Sanchez can't grasp a simple offense or make the reads. I don't know if I couls stomach sanchez throqwing 50 picks next year. Bill walsh could rise from the grave and not help sanchez at this point

I don't care if Shonn Greene is our QB next season, if we have a chance to get Norv we need to get him.

Gotta reach out to Norv. Even if Sparano only got a year with subpar talent, Norv (I think) is better at grooming a young QB, someone we need

If Rex stays HC and Norv comes in in OC capacities, I'm on the bandwagon too.

And can that fucker T-Bomb. (Raid someone with promise - meaning, say no to AJ Smith.)

haha. true, but unfortunately I think Rex's mouth last year most likely squashed that possibility.

It doesn't matter about now (unfortunately), it matters in 2014, when we draft our new QB in the 2014 NFL draft. We'll have more cap after we get rid of several players. Get a stopgap to compete with Sanchez for the starting position and lets get some skill position players in the mean-time.

Yeah this is the only reason why I think it won't happen. Maybe they'll man up and have a talk about it

This is how it has to work regardless of who they bring in. $$ Dictates that Sanchez will be here (starting or not). Alot of older guys (that are also overpaid ) need to go as well.

Open QB competition for next season* (which will be a wash) as they build a better team for whoever becomes the QB for 2014, instead of of throwing someone new into the mess thinking everything will be better.

* If they happen to grab a rookie this april, have him ride the pine for the year before throwing him into the fire
