Default 2012 Week 11 - New York Jets @ St. Louis Discussion Thread

I wasn't going to...but decided to create the thread anyway...just disgusted.

I knew they were going to get their asses kicked it just hurts more now that it has happened. I'm watching the St. Louis/49'er game right now and I'm not so sure we can beat the Rams from what I'm seeing.

both teams are offensively challenged. Sanchez will play with extra motivation against the guy that probably hurt his development as a nfl qb

St. Louis is 3-1 at home and is on their way to win over the 49ers.

Yeah, I'm excited.

Honestly, I hope they lose. I don't want to win another game. The season's over. Play for draft picks.

The tricky part is I don't even know what I want to happen. A loss symbolizes that we're definitely in the running for a top 10 if not top 5 pick but, considering our weak schedule over the rest of the season (other than the Pats), a win could keep us in contention for a spot, however unlikely that really is.

My bet, we win this game as it is a combination of giving us (false) hope of having a late season push for a playoff spot and also taking us further from a top end draft pick. The worst of both worlds.

Tackle the way we did this week, and it will be a sure loss.

Well looks like a heartbreaking loss is about to go down for the Rams against the niners.

Both of you spoke too soon. They're going to be coming to us following a TIE!

Schotty offense vs Rex defense, should be fun. Matt Mulligan makes an appearance and is Wayne Hunter playing for the Rams?

Hopefully we can get to 4-6. Im disgusted as hell but I do recall a 4-6 team ending up a half away from the Super Bowl. So like it or not, if you wanna quit then quit, but I know for a fact that you can come back from 4-6.

Ill jump the ship if the Jets lose Sunday, but till then ill ride out any last hope.

Who would've thought Rams would have the better record when these two teams hook up? Unbelievable.

I predict a win. Teams with their backs against the wall always come up big in meaningless games.

Players wanna keep their jobs, FAs wanna make a statement/pad their losses, and teams are more loose when playoffs aren't likely.

I also predict a big game for Sanchez. He's due, the rams secondary is slow. Janoris Jenkins is amazing though. Don't throw at him. He'll pick you off and hurt your receivers.

Also playing shotty. I hope Wayne Hunter makes an appearance.
