^He was knocked out the game in the 1st Qtr and Matty Moore stuck it to us once again.

I say 18 of 26 for 209 yards with 1 TD and 0 INTs.

Seattle wins 24-20.

That is very impressive.

I would've liked to have seen what Ryan could have done in his 2nd Jet game since he would've been the only rookie to have played the Jets twice.

Maybe he would've improved from his first game (his last bad game) or maybe (and possibly more likely) had another subpar performance

Maybe a brighter ray of hopeful sunshine is that the Jets have won 7 of the last 9 November games.

Here is another factoid: Russell Wilson has not lost a home game yet. He's 4-0 at Seattle. They beat the Cowboys, Packers (technically), Patriots, and Vikings in Seattle. That's no mean feat.

Russell Wilson also has not thrown an interception at home through those 4 games, either...8 touchdowns and 0 interceptions.

Also, half the games Rex's team played against rookie QBs went into overtime.

Out of those 4 games only 1 was a home game. The game vs. luck. Hopefully we can be road warriors in Seattle of all places.

Russell through the air is not the make or break in this game. This game's going to center around the Jets run defense stepping up to the plate (Lynch) as well as Sanchez and the inconsistant special team units not putting the Jets in bad field position (screwups/breakdowns that give Seattle short fields to work with).

If the Jets can play on a 'level field' field position-wise I think they can hang. As for Wilson himself it's not really about Wilson's arm as it is containing him from extending plays running away from the Jets slow LB's, allowing him to extend drives with 3rd down scrambles. Sanchez keeping his cool and not stupidly forcing it will be crucial as well as knowing to simply throw it away when it's not there, i.e. not turning a 2nd and 8 into a 3rd and 14 or even worse, not taking care of the ball (again, giving Seattle a short field). If they can survive the noisy bedlam at the onset and keep it close into the 2nd half, they're capable of pulling this one off--the Seattle home field advantage aside, as a team I don't see the Seahawks as top-top tier. Doesn't look good on paper maybe, but stranger things have happened.

******

How quickly people forget the GB game.

Anyways, yes Russell Wilson has played well at home, yes Rex Ryan has confused rookie QBs. We will see what factors in here. My guess is that Rex confuses Wilson, but the offense/ST doesn't play well enough to win the game.

issue is, wilson can play horrible and we likely still lose. seattles defense is going to destroy us. multiple turnovers, nothing for our wideouts, and mark as usual will look terrible.

whats worse, he likely will have to go to keller alot, which often results in interceptions throwing in the middle of the field.

lynch is going to run all over us.

i can see wilson going like 6-18 90 yards and an int and them still beating us like 14-6 or 13-3.

As sweet as that was at the time, it was actually the turning point in the game against us. Our D had zero prep for Moore, who's actually the better QB.

The instant Tanneyhill went out of the game I said to myself "this aint good".
