Default Keller Most Likley Out Again For Monday Night,Injury Report

This is becoming a weekley trend we might as well put this guy on IR and sign Chirs Cooley or Kelen Winslow because it hurt's Sanchez every week that we don't have a number 1 tight end in the game. Our offense is bad enough and it's that much worse without any kind of talent at tight end while Keller heals up. He has played only a few snaps so far in the Buffalo game. With Holmes done, and Hill still injured we need Keller back more then ever how fuckin bad can he be injured??

Quote:
FLORHAM PARK, N.J. -- The Jets could be without three key contributors for Monday night's game against the Texans as receiver Stephen Hill, tight end Dustin Keller and defensive tackle Sione Pouha missed Thursday's practice.

For Pouha, who played Sunday against the 49ers, he was outside during the portion of practice open to the media but left to go inside the team's facility, which is a never a good sign. His status will become more clear over the next two days.

Hill, the rookie, might have an uphill battle to get on the field if he can't practice. The wideout is still learning the playbook and needs all the help he can get. Keller, meanwhile, is still not practicing but at least he has a rapport with quarterback Mark Sanchez that can be quickly rekindled.

While Bart Scott (toe), fullback John Conner (hamstring) and linebacker Bryan Thomas (hamstring) all missed Wednesday's practice, there has not been any indication they are in trouble for Sunday's game. All played Sunday against the 49ers.

I think he's holding out contract wise.

Still further enforcing the fact he is a soft player.

This has to be the most tragic hammy issue ever in the NFL. I think Nilton has a point but you have to wonder is this any way to spend your walk year?

I've never seen someone out so long because of a hammy injury. What the hell has he been doing to rehab it?

Alright, now it's getting ridiculous. Does he have an logged bullet or something that's preventing him from healing?

Monday night is going to be brutal.

What the fuck went on in training camp this year...we've had a rash of injuries...mostly lower body.

I think the most likely answer is that the Jets weren't watching conditioning really closely in the off-season. That's on the players because management isn't allowed to dictate conditioning between the OTA's.

On most teams players stay in top shape because it is their ass in training camp if they fell off the wagon during the off-season. On the Jets? Who knows?

There are downsides to having a player's coach, particularly after everybody has kind of gotten used to him and knows where they can get over.
