Default Santonio Holmes

I'm really starting to dislike this guy. One of three things happens on every ball thrown to him. He catches it and acts like a jackass with his stupid first down the drop the ball celebration, he drops the ball, or he asks for a flag from the officials. This guy has no toughness what-so-ever and I'm starting to lose all respect for him. You could even see Ike Taylor bitching him out on the filed as he was getting tired of Holmes looking to the officials for a flag after every play.

Haha yeah. Today especially. He had a couple of pretty bad drops. And he got lucky on the phantom PI call.

He was trash, especially with the drops and his body language.

His ego is so much bigger than his talent level it's disgusting. Catch the fucking ball. #1 receiver my ass.

My favorite: he gets the absolute bullshit phantom PI call. Very next play... incomplete. He gets up and glares at the official with his hands on his hips as if he's been on the wrong end of some injustice. LOL. He's such a piece of shit.

There was a stretch of 3 balls thrown to him that hit him in the chest. He caught none of them.

He really pissed me off when he stood over CB #23 (I believe) and put his feet close together to kind of prevent him from getting up (led to a lot of jawing) even though the Jets were down and needed him to be mentally in the game. I've said it before and I'll say it again, this team is better without Tone.

^^^ agree with this and ALL of the above threads ..... and wish the
Jets would stop (beginning with Rex) treating the 'lllers with "suck up" oh-so-much-'respect'.

Shit, at least the Ravens look to truly step up and get into their grill when it comes to punching them in the mouth....like 'old school' Jets (soft) vs. Raiders (hard).

Bitch-slapped.....again. Shrinking violets whenever Pitt is involved.

Yeah, I get no-Revis .... try NO Troy and that head-hunting lunatic Harrsion. pleeeeeze....

Don't blame #10. Blame the fat GM who gave him a $ 50 M contract when no other teams wanted anything to do with him, yet played hardball with Revis.

The irony is those were pretty much the only three balls Sanchez threw on target in the final three quarters.

They've played plenty of games the past couple of years without troy on the field. They're used to it. The Jets wideouts dropping the ball today was ridiculous.

I wish we cut him after last year. I know it would have crippled us but it would have been the right thing to do.

Need a better talent scout.

Where is our Danny Amendola, Welker, Austin, etc?

Why do we pay this guy to act like a jerk on the field and not step up when the team needs it?

The question is: What team drafts a QB with 1 year of experience past HS to lead a NY franchise with little to no help along the way? Furthermore, what team drafts the same QB and isn't willing to develop him, knowing all of this? 5th pick overall: that is on the Jets.

maybe if he worked as hard on catching the ball as he did bitching to refs he'd catch a pass every once in awhile
