Default LaRon Landry

Can't believe nobody has brought him up yet. He played great yesterday. Didn't have any trouble in coverage, had a pick, laid the wood on Cruz (loved every second of it!!), and had a couple nice plays at the LOS including behind the line.

He was definitely my favorite off-season move. If he can stay healthy, he will really help and play his way into a new contract.

I think the safety position could see the biggest improvement this year. Not just because of Landry and Bell, but Antonio Allen has really had some nice moments. If this defense could just get some more talent at OLB it could be really good, but its on a very good track.

If Landry stays healthy, great. If he gets injured, Antonio Allen... I hope.

he certainly looks healthy to me. if he looked a step slow id be concerned the achilles was bothering him...but hes running with some serious burst.

the guy looks 100%

Landry played great in Gregg Bounty Williams' D in 07, this is a similar defense.

This defense will be hell on fuckin wheels. It will keep us in ball games, can we figure it out on offense is the question.

If Landry can stay healthy he will be very good for us.

No question about that imo.

Yes I loved that hit on Cruz. Even though he popped up and acted like he was unfazed, you know that in a full length game with the starters in the whole time, that the hit would be on his mind every time he went up for one.

It's no secret that as long as he's healthy he's a huge upgrade over Smith. When healthy he's a top tier safety. When healthy. Fingers crossed all year long.

Definitely one of the (few) brightspots from the Giants game. Especially how Cruz later dropped an easy catch 'cause he was scared about Landry bitch slapping him again!

Let's hope he stays healthy. For all we know we've been watching average safety play because our safeties were so bad. ( I kid, I kid )

Big time hit was THE best part of the game. If the rest of the team plays half as well we are set. We can ONLY hope . . . . . .

I was so happy when we got him
I like J.L but he kept getting hurt when we really needed him.
And after the Giants game this seals the deal for me.

He's going to get fined for that hit. Still enjoyed it.
