Default The nfl dropped the ball

on it's flex scheduling.

here are four much better matchups with more meaning than vikings, eagles.

jets, bears.
giants, packers.
colts, raiders.
and even, 49ers, rams.

and there only doing the flex for two games? they didnt do it last week.

the only reason i can think why they bumped the, chargers, bengals, for vikings, eagles, is the vick factor?

Aren't cable networks responsible for flex scheduling?

The Jets/Bears game was protected by CBS and FOX probably protected Giants/Packers.

I feel like the Eagles have been a primetime game for the past 6 weeks, with the only non-primetime game being the 1:00pm legendary game with the Giants.

This.

Also the decision had to be made before Week 15 so if IND were to lose to JAX, that game might not have a whole lot of meaning if IND/OAK were to be flexed. I guess NBC just took a surefire playoff team in PHI to be safe.

Sucks NY doesn't get a 4PM CBS game though....no Jet fan will watch STL vs SF....why not give a game that has actual indication to Jet fans in IND/OAK?

In the battle between personal conduct policy and ratings, dog-fighter v. penis-texter will always trump the moral high ground.

Rex probably made those foot videos just to get more prime time games.

Michael Vick is arguably the most exciting player in the league.

Is there a game being flexed NEXT sunday as in the 2nd??

Any help on this would be great. I'm going to the Seahawks Rams game and its one of three games that are late games.

in all honesty i have no idea how it works, that however doesnt make the man crush the nfl has on brett favre and michael vick any less prevalent. between the nfl, the broadcast networks and good old espn this guy is the new savior.

electric..he is a very special player, that doesnt mean i only want to watch his team, he isnt michael jordan at this point.

Jesus, did anybody here see the Eagles-Giants game? Are you really going to fault a billion dollar industry for promoting its hottest commodity?

Reports are that that game in Philly will be played in blizzard like conditions. Good! Hope it somehow gives Minny a chance, not that it matters as Philly surely will beat Dallas the following week.

Does anyone else (sort of) enjoy watching the raiders play? (I am sorry had to go back and catch myself because I reread this and almost threw up in my mouth)

Maybe its just that everytime they win I know the Pats are getting a worse player.

because FOX has the doubleheader this week, not CBS.

The only CBS game for the NY area is the Jets game. They can't show a second.

FOX shows two. We're getting SF/STL (they could've given us WAS/JAX, but oh well) and Giants/Packers.
