Damn GH...That was a real punch in the gut, and another splash of reality that I didn't need. As everyone said, despite never actually meeting you, each and every one of us on this site is pulling for you everyday.
In the coming months, do, as you said, "give it your damndest," but remember (as I am sure you cannot now forget) life is a gift, and enjoy EVERY minute of it.
We're all here when you need to talk/vent etc.

Don't know what to say. I'm staring at my screen in disbelief. Its a strange place we are all in now. Some of us a choked up, some teary eyed, and some staring off into space. News like this is tough on a family and yet most of us have never met one another, or spoken on a phone. The personalities of each member coming through via text, and avatars, and emoticons.

The outpouring from the members here for your situation is incredible and I think we all feel the same way. Come here to vent, come for advice, come for bullshit time. We are part of your extended family - your "text family", but there's a real person with emotions and feelings and experiences on the other end of that post. We're all here for your support and we hope we get to "read" you more as well.

You've got a great outlook and here's hoping you can fight this thing off. You are in our prayers. Wishing you the best...

I am so sorry to hear this!

Keep strong and know that my prayers are with you and your family. I too thought of your fishing trip in Oswego because it is a place we have in common, I am sure your boys will remember those days as well.

I just want to ask if you have gotten a second opinion on your condition. If you have great, if not I highly recommend it.
