Eleven games into the festivities, the Broncos have four interceptions, one by a defensive lineman. And they're allowing a completion percentage of .699, putting them within a bad drive or two of the all-time record of 70.1 percent, set by the 2007 Lions.

I don't mention it to pile on. That's the last thing the Broncos need after losing to the gawdawful Raiders. It's meant more as a reality check for those who view life through orange-colored glasses.

Add into the fact that they have to go from West to East.

But if Denver had a top 15 defense, they'd win 11 games every year with that passing game.

It's fun to look at stats like this.

2,445 yards, a 66.6 completion percentage, 18 touchdowns to only 2 picks and a 111.2 passer rating. That's the Detroit Lions opponent QB.

That's a friggin' MVP season.
