I think they are going to hold on with Chris, he proved a lot this season and played very well. I think he is going to play better next year and Griese will be the one who may be looking for a job.

He's a RESTRICTED free agent, which means that TB has a chance to match any offer before he accepts it, and there's no way they let him go...we'd have to give up a LOT more than he's worth to get him.

Why would we trade back in the first round and give up Abraham to get Simms? He will always be a great prospect/practice player but when its game time, he always seems to fail.

Fail? granted he got off to a rocky start, but grew up real fast. He led us to what 4 fourht quarter comebacks? He would've led us to a playoff win had Edell held on to that perfect pass. Did you see him vs teh Skins the 1st time around?

As for the trade- yuck. I know it seems like we're getting the better end of the deal here, but its just an all around gay thread. Yea, lets trade for another DE with a heavy price tag who isnt even as good as our currently big buck Rice. That makes a lot of sense. And lets give up the kid who jsut mastered Gruden playbook and will grow to be a star and start all over again with some one knew. All this to have to pay big bucks to who ever goes 4th overall.

No thanks. As much as I love D'Brick and all this trade sucks. And don't touch Simms, you had your shot earlier in the season and you passed up on it. He's our franchise QB now, you go find your own. Trade sucks. We'll have a great draft even if we stay right where we are.
