Davis is pyscho.... Kiffin has a chance to be a good coach in this league, but Oakland is just screwing him over, and it is officially becoming a right of passage for rookie HC's to come straight through Oakland, and they get fired after a year, become coordinators for another year or two, and then they become HC's again and have a decent run... Art Shell is probably the only one I dont think had any real HC potential. Gruden was solid, Callahan has a chance to be good in the NFL again, and soon to be Kiffin.

Now if you are Lane Kiffin, how long do you go before you call it quits? I wouldnt wait too long, because all other jobs will be filled, and I certainly wouldnt stick around another year just to prove a point to Davis. Because you will be miserable, so will he, and they would have a shot at 0-16 next year, because of Russel being a youngin, and the fact Kiffin wouldnt want to be coaching, and Davis being a dick. So if im kiffin I quit tomorrow, and get a job somewhere i am wanted, before they are all filled.

If and when a new owner ever comes to Oakland, if I were them I would literally perform a wholesale firing of everyone in that organization and start from scratch. That is the most poorly run organization in football and has no hope of revival anytime soon.

Davis is a freakin' ass. I agree that Kiffin has a good chance to become a good coach in this league, but it's the old farts with bad combovers that seriously hinder that. Let Davis coach the team himself if he thinks he knows it all. According to him Rome needs to be built in just one year. And they wonder why people refuse to support that organization.

i dont understand, kiffin seems like a good and upcoming coach,(he probably should have been an OC before he became a HC in the NFL) but still he is a smart coach. Not giving your coach sayings over personel is a stupid ploy to show you have power. Al davis running the franchise is stupid because he sees stupid stuff as being important and the man running everything on the field(kiffin) doesn't even get a full say about what goes on....its ridiculous
