It's all going on in my backyard and I won't even be able to see any of it. The NBA is nothing but a bitch to corporations with this stuff. Give me the MLB All Star game any day.

I'm not even a Basketball fan really, but I always watch All Star Saturday Night. It's usually pretty damn entertaining.

The Dunk Contest lineup seems pretty decent, but who is Gerald Green? Never even heard of him.

Gerald Green is a Celtic who likes to dunk

Probably a good favorite to win. I can't see Howard doing anything better than Amare did a couple years ago which was basically power dunks and there is no way they are going to let Nate try 57 times to get a dunk before cehating his opposition out of a trophy.

I think I may actually watch the Skills Comp with Kobe/LeBron/Nash/Wade.

I think Nate may have a tough time winning again as the novelty of a small dude is gone after his win last year. Green could impress, but I am interested to see what Thomas can do.

They need to go back to the basics with the slam dunk contest with a time limit or set attempts and why does Wade and LeBron continue to chicken out in the slam dunk contest, at least attempt it once before stopping

They have no creativity, all they can do are basic dunks.

Nate The Great is my only interest in this thing. If I catch the rookie-sophomore game I'll look to see how David Lee does. But if I'm not home I will set to record the antics of one Nate The Great.

LeBron can do the dunk contest if he tried, he did it in HS as for Wade he has a vertical and can dunk, he can at least try, if Amare and Howard are trying it, then I don't want to see excuses from those 2

That's my excuse for those 2 for pussying out of the dunk contest every year.

The NBA is probably stoked at this response by Tyrus Thomas.

Free Money
Feb 6 - Asked if he were excited about becoming the first Bull since Scottie Pippen in 1990 to participate in the event as part of All-Star weekend, Tyrus Thomas barely looked up from untying his shoes.
"Not really," Thomas said. "I'm just going to go out there, get my check and call it a day."

"I'm just into the free money," he said. "That's it. I'll just do whatever when I get out there."

Thomas makes $3.26 million. The winner gets $35,000. The runner-up receives $22,500. Third and fourth place are worth $16,125. -- Chicago Tribune

Bulls rookie forward Tyrus Thomas has been fined $10,000 by the team for his remarks regarding the NBA's slam dunk contest.
