How did he pitch? From what is being said on the internet he was as advertised... A top of the rotation in 2014 of Harvey , Wheeler and Niese would be something for Mets fans to get excited about....a long time since we said that

His velocity was top notch, control is his biggest problem... But that usually is the biggest problem for a top tier pitching prospect.

Anyone watching this jokester walking in runs before giving up a grand slam on ESPN? Sad to watch a guy ruin his shot at the majors like this.

Looks like Johan Santana's Mets career is over, as he has suffered a re-tear of his shoulder capsule.

Has to be one of the biggest Met disappointments that we never really had a long spell of seeing Johan at the top of his game. His injuries just stopped him being the pitcher we all thought we would get.

His no hitter was a day to rememeber but his injury problems and exhorbitant contract sort of sums up the last remnants of Minayas era

Pretty big joke that Valdespin won't be a starter on this team. They should probably just put him in CF and see what happens. Instead, Collins said Cowgill will be the everyday starting CF. That's great, we can have another .250 OF will no power out there.
