On a more serious note, I wouldn't say Tebow was to blame for the season they had. There are a million things wrong with the Jets right now that contributed.

however, the distraction that comes with having Tebow on the roster certainly didn't help things.

Tebow and the Jets was a marriage of convenience. The Jets wanted the attention, Tebow wanted the attention. Both regret the move...

...and the Broncos couldn't be happier to have all that in the rear view mirror.

I'm actually hoping that the Jets hold onto Tebow in hopes that they can trade him for some pittance, and when they realize that no team will give them jack shit for a QB that can't throw, they cut him from the team 2 days after the 2013 season starts.

There is no need to hold on to him until every team has a solution at QB before dumping him. It's gonna be hard enough for him to find a team willing to take a chance on him as it is. Doesn't really help the Jets either. Just more drama through camp, preseason, and the first week.

Best for EVERYONE if the Jets just cut bait and release him immeditely after they take a sniff at the trade market and find few takers. There probably won't be any takers for a trade though when just about every team in the NFL knows what Ryan thinks of Tebow... and he survived the purge.
